Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Parachute Design Group Inc. (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on resiako.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, and software development kits that store or read identifiers.
Cookies may be:
- Session — deleted when you close the browser; or
- Persistent — stored for a set period or until you delete them.
They may also be first-party (set by Residence Echo.com) or third-party (set by partners such as analytics, advertising, or affiliate networks — including when you follow a sponsored product link).
3. Why we use them on an advertising site
resiako.com is an advertising / affiliate website. Cookies and similar tools help us:
- keep the Site working securely;
- remember that you acknowledged this cookie notice;
- understand how visitors use pages (aggregate analytics);
- measure clicks on sponsored or affiliate offers and attribute conversions where partners require it.
4. Categories we use
4.1 Strictly necessary
These are needed for basic functions — for example security, load balancing, fraud prevention, and storing your cookie-banner choice. You can still block them in your browser (the Site may then not work correctly).
- Example purpose: remember “cookie accepted” in local storage / a short-lived cookie.
4.2 Analytics / performance
These help us see which pages are read, how long visits last, and whether technical errors occur. Data is typically aggregated. Where required, we only enable optional tools after consent.
4.3 Advertising / affiliate / marketing
When you click a “View Premium”, “Try it now”, or similar sponsored link, redirect URLs and partner cookies may record that the click came from this Site. Partners may use that information to pay commissions, prevent fraud, and measure campaigns.
These technologies are controlled largely by the destination merchant, brand, or affiliate network under their own policies.
5. Managing cookies
- On this Site — use the cookie bar acknowledgement where shown; clearing site data will reset that preference.
- In your browser — block or delete cookies via settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.).
- Industry opt-outs — for some interest-based advertising, you may use available regional opt-out tools.
- Mobile OS settings — limit ad tracking / reset advertising IDs in iOS or Android settings.
Blocking advertising or affiliate cookies will not stop you from browsing the Site, but we may be unable to attribute partner clicks, and some third-party pages may behave differently.
6. Retention
Cookie lifetimes vary: session cookies expire when you close the browser; persistent cookies may last from days to many months depending on purpose and the provider. Local storage items (such as a cookie acknowledgement flag) remain until cleared.
7. Cross-border partners
Some cookie providers process data outside Canada. See the Privacy Policy section on cross-border transfers for more detail.
8. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Please review it periodically.
